If your fingers fidgeted while watching the most recent adventures of creaky archaeologist INDIANA JONES, subconsciously wishing you could control his actions (preferably in a more interesting scenario), you were probably looking forward to playing the nefarious treasure-collector himself in a videogame incarnation.

Alas, it seems that the recent rumors of the next-gen console game’s cancellation are true… mostly. While it appears that the good Doctor won’t be bringing his digitized likeness to the the Xbox 360 and PS3, LucasArts’ INDIANA JONES AND THE STAFF OF KINGS will be swinging onto the Nintendo Wii, if the new trailer below is any indication.

So prepare to break furniture while flailing the Wii controller to crack your whip and slug some Nazis.
