Writer and director Andrew Haigh’s latest is a deeply personal tale, one that explores the parent/child relationship in a moving way. All of Us Strangers examines the lonely life of Adam (Andrew Scott), a screenwriter living in a near abandoned building. One of his few neighbors is Harry (Paul Mescal), a mysterious fellow who shows up one night at Adam’s door. All the while, Adam has been visiting his parents home and spending time with his deceased Mom (Claire Foy) and Dad (Jamie Bell) who seem to be alive and well, and the same age as their adult son.

All of Us Strangers is a terrific film, one with excellent performances all around. We recently spoke with the film’s Mom and Dad, Jamie Bell and Claire Foy, about their work in the new feature. The two discussed working with Andrew, and finding their relationship with Adam within the script and film. The two also discussed a couple of especially moving moments that they share with Andrew Scott. If you are looking for something with a lot of beauty and heart, All of Us Strangers may very well be what you are seeking. All Of Us Strangers is now playing in limited release and expands this January.
