Interview: Fright Night stars Anton Yelchin and Imogen Poots!

JoBloJoBlo

Anton Yelchin is one of those new “it” guys that is showing up in every movie these days. From CHARLIE BARTLETT to TERMINATOR SALVATION and then STAR TREK, this guy is everywhere.

I best know Imogen Poots as the daughter from 28 WEEKS LATER (sequel to Danny Boyle’s 28 DAYS LATER). Though I haven’t seen much of her I was quite excited just because I am such a huge fan of 28 WEEKS LATER and zombie films in general.

If you haven’t seen the original; Fright Night is a story of a teenager; Charley Brewster (Anton Yelchin) who discovers that his new next door neighbor might be a vampire and enlists the help of celebrity illusionist (in the original he was an actor) Peter Vincent (David Tennant) to stop the tyranny of his blood sucking neighbor from hell who is also trying to seduce his girlfriend Amy (Imogen Poots)

Speaking these two was like talking to an odd comedy duo that hadn’t quite gotten their routine right yet. It was still a blast meeting these two young Hollywood stars and talking to them about vampires, Colin Farrell and working with this generation’s most popular Doctor Who; David Tennant.
