Last Updated on November 14, 2023

A24 has been having a good year. With the recent X, and it’s promising follow-up Pearl, they have more fun thrills in store. And now, we have the wild and entertaining Bodies Bodies Bodies. The film tells the tale of a group of friends spending time together during a massive storm. In hopes to entertain themselves, they play the game Bodies Bodies Bodies, and let us just say that it kinda turns deadly – sort of like hide and seek, but with BODIES. Directed by Halina Reijn, the new feature stars Pete Davidson, Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, Rachel Sennott, Chase Sui Wonders, Myha’la Herrold, and Lee Pace. It’s a slasher with a fresh and fun spin (read our rave review here).

Sitting down with the cast of Bodies Bodies Bodies was simply a good time. First up, we spoke with Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, and Myha’la Herrold. All three were delightful, and it was fun hearing how both Stenberg and Bakalova decided to go with this project after each had massive critical acclaim. Stenberg shined with her excellent work in The Hate U Give and Bakalova’s iconic, Academy Award nominated performance in Borat. As for Herrold, the actress is also quite good here, and she opened up about playing in this comedic horror film world.

Next up, we spoke to Chase Sui Wonders, Rachel Sennott, and Lee Pace. It was easy to see that this would have been a fun film to be a part of. Both Chase and Sennott opened up about the script, and taking on such a quirky flick. And as for Lee, the actor is excellent here – as is the rest of the cast – and it’s fun to see him in something a little different from his usual big budget antics. Check out Bodies Bodies Bodies currently in theatres, it’s a clever take that should inspire all you slasher fans.
