Try this on for size. The remake of
INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS, was going to be called INVASION, but
was changed to THE VISITING because of changes in the direction of the film.
However, the film has now changed it’s name to THE INVASION. (Wow, that
‘the’ really makes it sound much cooler!)
I have no idea what the f**k is going on at these studios that they keep jumping
from title to title, and presumably plot to plot. But for the time being the
film will be known as THE INVASION and will be the
story of a mysterious epidemic that alters the behavior of human beings. When a
Washington D.C. psychiatrist discovers the epidemic’s origins are
extraterrestrial, she must fight to protect her son, who may hold the key to
stopping the escalating invasion.
The film’s slated to hit theatres this summer (August 17th) and will star Nicole
