UPDATE: ComingSoon.net has premiered the official poster, crystal clear for your viewing pleasure below; indeed, Alien Prequel News got the (fuzzy) scoop first.
Fansite Alien Prequel News has been on the ball when it comes to PROMETHEUS scoops, so there’s a good chance this new item is accurate. Still, as it’s not coming at us from Fox or another official source, let’s say this may be for real.
According to the site, a reliable reader has sent them a snapshot of the PROMETHEUS teaser poster, which you can see below. It certainly looks like it could be the real deal (it’s cut from the same cloth as the official still you see to the right), and it contains some of that “ALIEN DNA” that Ridley Scott’s always touting.
And though it’s tough to read, it appears that the tagline is “The search for our beginning could lead to our end.”
If this does turn out to be the genuine article, you can expect a high-res version to hit the ‘net very soon. The release of the trailer shouldn’t be far behind, either.
