Writer-director Larry Fessenden's modern reimagining of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein DEPRAVED (pre-order HERE) starring David Call, Joshua Leonard, Alex Breaux, and Ana Kayne is currently available on VOD. And today we hear the film will be released on Blu-ray/DVD combo pack via Scream Factory and IFC Midnight in January. Special features will be announced at a later date but you can check out the cover art below.

This retelling centers on:

an army medic suffering from PTSD, Henry (David Call) now works feverishly in his Brooklyn laboratory to forget the death he witnessed overseas … by creating life in the form of a man cobbled together from body parts. After he procures a brain from an unwitting victim, his creation — Adam (Alex Breaux) — is born. Soon, it becomes apparent that giving life to Adam was the easy part, and teaching him how to live in a dark and troubled world may be perilous. A complex, emotionally shattering tale about what it means to be human, Depraved re-imagines Mary Shelley’s immortal fable as a modern-day tale of terror.

Directed by Larry Fessenden (HABIT, THE LAST WINTER) from a screenplay he adapted from the novel Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, DEPRAVED stars David Call, Joshua Leonard, Alex Breaux, and Ana Kayne. DEPRAVED is currently available on VOD and will be released on Blu-ray/DVD combo pack via Scream Factory and IFC Midnight on January 7, 2020. Read our 8/10 review RIGHT HERE.
