James Gunn set to produce a horror film for The H Collective

Marvel's GUARADIANS OF THE GALAXY director James Gunn has been tapped by The H Collective to produce an untitled horror film under their banner.

Furthermore, Gunn’s brother Brian Gunn and cousin Mark Gunn are writing the screenplay. James will produce the new project in between scripting GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3, which the spiky-haired filmmaker will direct next year. Gunn's ofttimes collaborator David Yaroesky will direct the horror project for The H Collective with production beginning in the spring of 2018.

No details have been given regarding the plot of Yaroesky's new horror feature, though with Gunn and his tight-knit familial talent involved, I'm sure that this project will be an interesting one to watch. Before becoming a household name with the release of Marvel's GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, Gunn helmed the sci-fi horror flick SLITHER, as well as the superhero comedy-drama SUPER. Both films have achieved cult film status over the past several years, and it would appear that James isn't done getting his hands bloody for the horror genre just yet.

Stay tuned for more news concerning The H Collective's untitled horror film as it arrives. Meanwhile, you can look forward to the production hype train for GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 3 pulling out of the station as early as next year.
