It’s been a long while since we last told you about Tom Jane’s DARK COUNTRY. And when I say Tom Jane’s, I mean it. The great Thomas Jane is both starring in and directing the flick! Though Tab Murphy did pen the script. So what’ve we got for you today? A mess of stills!
The guys over at Quiet Earth scored a look at 9 new stills for DARK COUNTRY! They’re nothing spectacular and definitely have that ‘noir’ feeling. Hell they ooze noir! DARK COUNTRY centers on a couple en route from Las Vegas that are forced to deal with a body out in the desert making their honeymoon one hellish ride. Along with Jane the film will also star Ron Perlman and Lauren German (below).
Quiet Earth also state how Jane has said DARK COUNTRY will “remain true to the stylistic choices of film noir, while delivering an immersive reality and visceral experience that only the next generation of 3D cinematography could provide.” That’s right. DARK COUNTRY will be a 3D noir supernatural thriller. Who would’ve thought? But Tom Jane can do no wrong, right? No word yet on when we might be seeing DARK COUNTRY so keep it here for updates!
