Godzilla might have hit America in 2014, but he's back home in Japan for Toho's GODZILLA RESURGENCE, his first Japanese venture since 2004. Obviously, they don't have the budget that Gareth Edwards lavished upon his Warner Bros. GODZILLA, but the new trailer promises even more monster mayhem. Not that it's difficult to show more Godzilla than in the 2014 film, but still. Check out some classic kaiju shenanigans below!

GODZILLA RESURGENCE is directed by Shinji Higuchi (ATTACK ON TITAN) and Hideaki Anno (Neon Genesis Evangelion) from a script by Anno. It stars Satomi Ishihara, Hiroki Hasegawa, and Yutaka Takenouchi. The film will crush Japanese theaters on July 29th, 2016.
