With so many found footage flicks haunting our cinemas and homes these days, it’s a shock that none of them have been called POV – until now. Here’s the trailer and poster for a Japanese chiller with that very title; it’s about… well, it’s sort of hard to determine exactly what it’s about. All I know is it involves schoolgirls (natch) and some kind of creepy (potentially cursed/haunted) video footage. Guess that’s enough for now.

The flick, which carries the full title POV: Norowareta firumu, comes from director Norio Tsuruta, who also helmed RING 0: BIRTHDAY, PREMONITION and the “Masters of Horror” episode DREAM CRUISE. It stars Shida Mirai and Haruna Kawaguchi.

Check out the official site HERE; the flick hits theaters in Japan on FEBRUARY 18th.
