One flick I’m really looking forward to is Clint Eastwood’s supernatural romp HEREAFTER. Not because of Eastwood though. Don’t get me wrong, that old dude is kicking and is apprently directing great movies left and right… but I’m looking forward to HEREAFTER because of one Mr. Matt Damon. In my eyes Damon is an excellent actor and I am stoked to see him tackle a genre flick!
Along for the ride with Damon is recently announced Bryce Dallas Howard and Cecile de France. And today another name has joined the project: Jay Mohr! According to Variety Mohr will play ‘Damon’s brother Billy.’ No sh*t? Mohr should be able to sink his teeth into that role! Seriously though the addition of Mohr to the flick just has me that much more excited. The dude knows what he’s doing, especially when he’s playing that arrogant prick role ala JERRY MAGUIRE. What do you guys think? Any other Mohr (above) fans out there?
HEREAFTER is set to follow three people — a blue-collar American, a French journalist and a London school boy — who are touched by death in different ways. It’s been announced that de France will be playing the French journalist while I think it’s safe to assume that Damon will be playing the blue-collar American. So where does Dallas Howard (below) fall in and who’s stepping up as the London school boy? Hopefully we find out soon!
HEREAFTER is currently filming and will span Paris, London, Hawaii and San Francisco with a December 2010 release date already set.
