Earlier this week there were rumblings that a JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 was in the works, with Victor Salva returning to write and produce. Today STYD has the confirmed news that CREEPERS 3 is a go, and that Salva will be returning to write, produce, and direct!!!
Initial reports had Salva involved, but only as a writer/producer, so it looks like he’s going to be more intertwined than we had originally thought! Which, I guess is a good thing… maybe.
I enjoyed the hell out of JEEPERS CREEPERS, but felt JEEPERS CREEPERS 2 was one of the worse sequels ever made. Mostly because the potential for a high body count was there (school bus FULL of kids), and yet most of em’ survived to the very end. Lame!
No telling when this beast will hit production, or if mega-star Justin Long will be back to reprise his role yet again, or if it’s going STD or theatrical, but one thing’s for sure… it’s going to happen. Love it or hate it, it’s time to prepare yourselves for another chapter with the Creeper.
