Bride of Chucky

CULT OF CHUCKY, the seventh entry in the CHILD'S PLAY franchise, has been filming in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada for almost a month, but one important member of the cast who has apparently not yet stepped in front of the camera is Jennifer Tilly as Tiffany, the BRIDE OF CHUCKY herself. That will soon be changing, as Tilly took to her Twitter account yesterday to share a picture of the Tiffany doll and a packed suitcase with the caption "Tiffany is packing for Winnipeg".

Hours later, Tilly shared another picture – a shot of herself, now in Winnipeg, standing out in the snow. Tilly / Tiffany is ready to report to the set!

Written and directed by Don Mancini, who has written or co-written every installment in the CHILD'S PLAY series in addition to directing SEED OF CHUCKY and CURSE OF CHUCKY, CULT OF CHUCKY catches up with CURSE character Nica Pierce

at an asylum for the criminally insane where she has been confined for the past four years and is erroneously convinced that she, not Chucky, murdered her entire family. But when Nica's psychiatrist introduces a new therapeutic "tool" to facilitate his patients' group sessions — an all-too-familiar "Good Guy" doll with an innocently smiling face — a string of grisly deaths begins to plague the asylum, and Nica starts to wonder if maybe she isn't crazy after all. Andy Barclay, Chucky's now-grown-up nemesis from the original Child's Play, races to Nica's aid. But to save her he'll have to get past Tiffany, Chucky's long-ago bride, who will do anything, no matter how deadly or depraved, to help her beloved devil doll.

Tilly's co-stars include Fiona Dourif as Nica, Alex Vincent as Andy (a role he played as a kid in CHILD'S PLAY and CHILD'S PLAY 2), Summer H. Howell as CURSE character Alice, and Grace Lynn Kung as the hard-edged Claire, with Brad Dourif once again providing the voice of Chucky.

CULT OF CHUCKY will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD in time for Halloween.
