Nick Jonas is no stranger to music as a solo artist and member of the highly successful Jonas Brothers trio so this next role could be perfect for the multi-talented performer. Per "Deadline", Jonas is in talks to play Frankie Valli in a streaming event version of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Jersey Boys.

The streaming event is set to be produced by Bohemian Rhapsody's Graham King and the Dodgers, who were producers on the original Broadway version. Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio will also serve as producers and while the project hasn't been fully set up just yet, the anticipation is that it can find a home on a streaming platform and be promoted and packaged in a similar fashion as last year's Hamilton, which saw the Broadway musical sent to Disney+ as a premiere event.

If talks come together, Jonas would sing the popular song catalog of Valli and the Four Seasons that help shape the Jersey Boys musical. The original Broadway show is a jukebox musical that is presented in a documentary-style format that dramatizes the formation, success, and break-up of the '60s rock 'n' roll group. The musical is structured as four "seasons" with each season narrated by a different member of the band who gives his own perspective on their history. In 2014, Clint Eastwood directed a film adaptation of the musical that received mixed reviews from critics and underperformed at the box office, grossing $47 million on a reported budget of $40 million.

As a musical performer, Nick Jonas has earned three consecutive No.1 albums as a remember of the Jonas Brothers. Their comeback album, "Happiness Begins", went platinum and resulted in a tour that sold 1.2 million tickets. As a solo artist, Jonas also saw success with his triple-platinum single "Jealous" and he's one of the rotating judges on the singing competition series, The Voice. Nick Jonas is also no stranger to acting. Jonas has tackled television in the Ryan Murphy horror-comedy series Scream Queens and the fan-favorite MMA series Kingdom, which co-starred Frank Grillo. On the film side, Jonas co-starred in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and its sequel, Jumanji: The Next Level. He'll be seen next in Chaos Walking with Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley.

Do YOU think Nick Jonas can fill Frankie Valli's shoes?
