J.J. Abrams’ Super 8 alien concept art discovered? We highly doubt it but…

Paramount have kept SUPER 8, the highly anticipated collaboration between J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg, shrouded in mystery. We know little more than the vague synopsis:

A group of teenagers discover that they’ve captured the image of an alien creature on their super 8 camera.

A piece of concept art supposedly depicting the film’s alien has appeared, which you can find below. There is no evidence supporting that it is real or not, but it could easily be faked. You would think something as important as this would be kept under wraps. Either way, it looks pretty cool. NOTE: If you look closely at the Paramount logo; its badly photoshopped in.

The movie is written and directed by J.J. Abrams with Steven Spielberg executive producing. The cast includes Kyle Chandler, Elle Fanning, Ron Eldard, Noah Emmerich Gabriel Basso, and Amanda Michalka. It will hit theaters on June 10, 2011.
