Well folks Eric basically just got finished telling you all how J.J. Abrams’ SUPER 8 would be hitting IMAX and here I am to give you more SUPER 8 news!
You see Abrams (right) took a second out of his busy ass schedule to talk to The Hollywood Reporter about a number of projects including “Fringe,” ALCATRAZ and of course SUPER 8. While that’s all fine and dandy what we really care about is SUPER 8, right? Right. So scope out what Abrams had to say when asked how things were coming along:
“We’re editing, we have a post schedule that leaves a lot to be desired in terms of the luxury of time. But we have an amazing postproduction group and we’re hard at work editing. I just came from the editing room right now. Fingers crossed as always.”
Sounds like everythings running pretty smoothly. But that’s not all! Abrams also talked to Collider about SUPER 8 (and STAR TREK 2 for that matter) and let loose the word that the full trailer for SUPER 8 would be debuting sometime this March. Nice! That’s in just a couple months folks! Imagine how much more stoked we’re going to be for this project once that full trailer hits? Oh yeah!
Due to hit theaters everywhere on June 10th, SUPER 8 sports a cast that includes Kyle Chandler, Elle Fanning, Ron Eldard, Noah Emmerich Gabriel Basso, Joel Courtney, Riley Griffiths, Ryan Lee, Zach Mills and AJ Michalka (below). We’ll keep our eyes and ears open for any other SUPER 8 updates as we wait for this trailer to drop so be sure to keep it here for that!
