nursing our Cannes hang-overs!
I attended the Cannes Film
Festival last year and it was a riot act! Got to stand on the
red carpet with George Romero, stood inches away from one of
my idols
Mickey Rourke, saw the Festival from a
trucker’s cap perspective, talked shop with
Sharon
Stone, got the eye from
Brittany Murphy, tackled lots of
films and attended mucho kool parties.
This year, the sequel kicks
in as JoBlo and I are once again tag teaming Cannes from May 17 to May 28 in
the South of France. Films I’m looking forward to are :Pan’s
Labyrinth, Southland Tales, The
Da Vinci Code, X-Men: The Last
Stand, and A Scanner Darkly. I’ll hopefully also get to see lots of
genre films early via the Cannes Market like I did last year.
