UPDATE: A nifty new trailer for the flick has come across the line as well, be sure to check it out below!

Not to be confused with the 1970s Umberto Lenzi film of the same name, Joe Begos’ new sci-fi thriller ALMOST HUMAN has just heightened its profile with the addition of a fresh poster. The 80 minute flick, shot in Rhode Island, looks to release sometime this year. When we know exactly when, so will you!

Starring Graham Skipper, Josh Ethier and Vanessa Leigh (below) – ALMOST HUMAN dates back when:

Two years ago, Mark disappeared from his home in a brilliant flash of light. His friend Seth was the last person to see him alive. Now, a string of murders leads Seth to believe that Mark is back.

Hmm…so abducted, only to return as a possible murderer? Not a terrible setup I suppose. Thing is, this Begos fella only has the video short BAD MOON RISING to his name, and no doubt a minuscule budget with this one. Will be interesting to see how it pans out.

Until we hear more, check out the official Facebook page for the flick.
