John Wick: Chapter 4 exclusive featurette goes behind the scenes at the Osaka Continental

John Wick: Chapter 4 (watch it HERE) was given a digital release a few weeks ago, and the movie’s physical media release (4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD) is scheduled for tomorrow, June 13th. In anticipation of that release, today we’re proud to share an EXCLUSIVE featurette from the bonus features that can be found on the discs! This featurette gives a behind-the-scenes look at the design of the Osaka Continental, and you can watch it in the embed above.

Directed by Chad Stahelski from a screenplay written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch, John Wick: Chapter 4 has the following synopsis: With the price on his head ever increasing, legendary hit man John Wick takes his fight against the High Table global as he seeks out the most powerful players in the underworld, from New York to Paris to Japan to Berlin.

Keanu Reeves stars as John Wick and is joined in the cast by Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, Clancy Brown, Ian McShane, Natalia Tena, and Marko Zaror.

There was some thought given to the idea of wrapping the franchise up with John Wick: Chapter 4 – until the film became the biggest money-maker in the series, earning over $432 million at the global box office, which is more than a $100 million increase over what John Wick: Chapter 3 made. So John Wick: Chapter 5 is now in development.

We’re also getting the streaming spin-off prequel mini-series The Continental on Peacock and the spin-off film Ballerina, directed by Len Wiseman and starred Ana de Armas.
