Putting the events of the sequels aside, there is a theory that Felissa Rose's character Angela didn't actually commit most of the murders in the original SLEEPAWAY CAMP. Some fans believe that the majority of that film's body count can be attributed to Angela's hot-headed cousin Ricky, played by Jonathan Tiersten.

Tiersten and Rose both have roles in writer/director Jimmy Lee Combs' horror anthology TERROR TALES, and this time there is no doubt that Tiersten is doing the killing in the segment called Radical Video, which is partly set in the 1980s. Tiersten plays Gary Tate, a serial killer also known as The Sledgehammer, and today we have an EXCLUSIVE batch of images from TERROR TALES that show Tiersten/The Sledgehammer in action, terrorizing victims and going on a date with another potential victim to rent a tape from Radical Video.

Combs had this to say about Tiersten and his character: "We couldn't be more excited for the performance Jonathan Tiersten has turned in as Gary Tate A.K.A. The Sledgehammer in Terror Tales' Radical Video segment. The Sledgehammer acts on impulse and compressed anger that he unleashes on his victims. Also, Jonathan's performance with Laurene Landon is pure lightning in a bottle!"

TERROR TALES revolves around

a husband who is abducted by a psychopath and taken on a ride from hell where he is subjected to three horrific tales of terror while his wife and daughter are held captive in an attached cargo trailer.

The tales include one of a demon that takes a mother on a journey of self-discovery and reveals to her the horrifying truth behind her son's suicide.

The next tale transpires in the '80s where a detective is hot on the trail of a serial killer known as The Sledgehammer who is terrorizing a video store owner and his wife. Years later, on the brink of the digital video revolution, the long standing video store is now on the verge of closing. However, bigger problems arise when the serial killer returns.

In the final tale, an evil deity is using the human body as a host to possess its victims. When the deity destroys one victim it jumps to another causing an epidemic of possessions being reported. Deception is ruled by evil as friends, family and strangers question their trust for one another.

Tiersten, Rose, and Landon's co-stars include Lynn Lowry, Liane Curtis, Yan Birch, Ari Lehman, RJ Wagner, Miranda Byers, Ben Hilzer, Ben Feldman, Matt Block, Andy Hankins, Heath Heine, Karen Thomas, Miss Asia USA Ashley Park, and Christopher Showerman as the psychotic Driver.
