If people can punch sharks in the face and still survive, surely a hammer could do some sort of damage to a dinosaur, right? No? Okay then! There's still another lead role up for grabs in Universal's JURASSIC WORLD and The Wrap reports that they are currently eyeing Josh Brolin for the part, according to multiple individuals familiar with the project. Okay, so there's not a whole lot of meat to this story just yet but I think Brolin brings a lot to the table and would no doubt be a solid addition to the already great cast. And for the record, I'd watch Brolin in anything, especially a movie about man-eating dinosaurs!

Brolin doesn’t have an official offer yet but one is expected shortly and he’s likely to accept. Brolin would join Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson and Ty Simpkins in the 3D sequel. Colin Trevorrow is directing the movie, which is being produced by Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley. Steven Spielberg, who is heavily involved in the casting process, is exec producing. Trevorrow wrote the screenplay with Derek Connolly. And per usual we still don't have any solid details on the flick but we're getting closer, I can feel it!

JURASSIC WORLD is scheduled to be released on June 12, 2015.
