Judge Dredd immersive experience coming to London in 2021

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

We should have already gotten a sequel, or multiple sequels to the 2012 film DREDD (which you can watch HERE) by now, but since it doesn't look like anything is going to be happening with Judge Dredd in film or television any time soon, it's good that fans of the comic book character and the world he inhabits have something special to look forward to: it has been announced that a Judge Dredd immersive experience is coming to London next spring.

The experience is called Judge Dredd Uprising: The LIVE Experience, and will drop visitors into a dystopian version of London called Brit-Cit for 150 minutes. It will include

immersive live theatre, five zones of mental and skill challenges, a laser tag combat arena, a series of different narratives, and more.

The experience was created by Little Lion Entertainment. Little Lion's founder and CEO Tom Lionetti-Maguire had this to say about the project:

This show is insanely exciting! The experience is part comic book, part sci-fi film, part immersive theatre, part escape room, part action adventure, and part indoor theme park."

The rights to Judge Dredd are held by Rebellion Entertainment, and Rebellion CEO Jason Kingsley said,

The world of Judge Dredd is the greatest imaginative universe to come out of British comics and we're proud to bring it to ever wider audiences."

This sounds like it's going to be a really cool way to spend 150 minutes. Some concept art has been released to show what it's going to look like inside the experience venue, and these images can be seen below, along with a brief trailer.
