The international trailer for Bong Joon-ho and Park Chan-Wook’s post-apocalyptic SNOWPIERCER has arrived, so jump on for a wild ride. Packing an incredible cast including Chris Evans, Jamie Bell, John Hurt, Ed Harris, Song Kang-ho, Octavia Spencer, Tilda Swinton, Alison Pill and Ewen Bremner, the film looks like a perfect mix of high-concept sci-fi thriller and character drama. Seriously doesn’t get much better than this.
Based on the French graphic novel “Le Transperceneige,” SNOWPIERCER is set in a future where, after a failed experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet except for the inhabitants of the Snow Piercer, a train that travels around the globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. A class system evolves on the train but a revolution brews.
