Jurassic Park 3D re-release poster is here to ensure April opening

Back in August, word dropped that the 3D and Imax 3D re-release of Spielberg’s JURASSIC PARK had been bumped up from July to April of 2013. Well, here’s the damn poster to prove it!

Meanwhile, a September article we wrote informed that JUSASSIC PARK IV is still in the feverish writing stages, with an emphasis on answering “why” even bother making a 4th to begin with. As they work that out on the page (sadly sans Michael Chrichton), Universal will gladly collect extra coin by converting the original to 3D, hiking ticket prices and milking the damn Velociraptor for all its worth. Kind of cynical actually.

As you know, the action of the movie ramps up during a preview tour, as a theme park suffers a major power breakdown that allows its cloned dinosaur exhibits to run amok.

JURASSIC PARK, in 3D, opens in theaters April 5, 2013.
