Jurassic World wraps production, teases T-Rex image

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

With celebratory proof that JURASSIC WORLD recently finished production, director Colin Trevorrow has just tweeted out a photo-tease of a gnarly T-Rex with a film-clapboard crammed in its toothy maw. One word accompanied: “Wrap!” Cop a peek in full below!

It’s also worth noting, or lamenting I suppose, that the pic reveals the DP on the film is John Schwartzman, Michael Bay’s longtime cinematographer (THE ROCK, ARMAGEDDON, PEARL HARBOR). Schwartzman has since departed from Bay, and most recently shot DRACULA UNTOLD, SAVING MR. BANKS and THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN. He was nominated for an Oscar in 2004 for his work on SEABISCUIT. Let’s hope he brings the quality of the latter, not the former, to JURASSIC WORLD.

With Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio, BD Wong, Omar Sy, Judy Greer, Katie McGrath, Lauren Lapkus and Andy Buckley comprising the diverse cast – JURASSIC WORLD hits 2D, 3D and IMAX theaters on June 12, 2015. Jurassic World is a sci-fi terror adventure set 22 years after the horrific events of the original Jurassic Park.
