Justice League Blu-Ray box art makes no mention of a director’s cut

I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but if you were hoping for a Director's Cut of JUSTICE LEAGUE to be included with the film's initial home release, it looks like you're out of luck. On Christman day, TrailerTrack's Anton Volkov spotted leaked cover art for JUSTICE LEAGUE's Blu-ray and DVD, which makes no mention of either a “Snyder cut” or a “Whedon cut."

You can check out Anton's tweet, which includes the leaked cover art, below:

With that being said, it's important to remember that this release is likely to be the first of several editions planned for JUSTICE LEAGUE's home release. I wouldn't be at all surprised if an Extended or Director's Cut is announced sometime in 2018. Way to fan the flames, WB! Gotta keep that hearth warm, eh?

Meanwhile, JUSTICE LEAGUE starring stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon is still in theaters now!
