I know you're probably used to Kevin Smith talking up another film at this point, but every once in a while he lets loose some information on one of his own. If you're intrigued to see what Kevin Smith has goin' on with TUSK, you're not the only one and you won't have to wait too much longer. Smith recently announced, with a new image, that his film will be released on September 19, 2014.

Here's the original Instagram post:

Kevin Smith also said that he would premier the trailer at his SDCC panel on July 25.  Since Smith will be rocking Hall H from 6:35pm – 8:05pm (PST), the trailer should pop up online around that time. I only just recently had a chance to see RED STATE, and Smith is more than adequate at establishing the tone and vibe that TUSK suggests. Given those past rants that he was giving up the film-making biz, I'm curious to see what Smith is so excited about with TUSK. Fortunately we won't have to wait that long.

TUSK, starring Justin Long, Michael Parks, Genesis Rodriguez, Haley Joel Osment, and Ralph Garman, will hit theaters on September 19, 2014.
