The 1970s had it right, didn’t they? There’s a reason all the horror flicks from the 70s are classics. They didn’t sugarcoat the action. What you see is what you get. One flick that hits this perfectly is the 1978 slasher THE TOOLBOX MURDERS. For today’s Kill of the Day I’m honoring TOOLBOX with this awesome death scene where our handy psychopath goes right at a woman with a drill. Can’t get much more in-your-face than that!
