What better way to wake up on a Thursday than to discover that Lions Gate has picked up the North American distribution rights to a pic about mutant, killer cows? You heard me right. That’s mutant, killer cows. And people ask me why I’m a genre fan.
The movie in question is called ISOLATION, and the dudes over at Twitch Film have scored a dozen stills from the movie. Nothing super exciting, but lots of atmospheric stuff and people looking off camera with great concern. Y’know, like in a Spielberg flick.
The concept, which we’re told is meant as a straight ahead horror flick despite the bovine villians, is as such: A young couple on the run take refuge at a lonely farm, only to find that the farmer has been supplementing his income by allowing genetic experiments on his cattle. A mutated calf is born and goes on the hunt.
