Not everyone gets to live out the American dream, but apparently we’ve been going about it all wrong. Turns out we need to be hunting really big snakes. Who knew. Peacock has released the first trailer for Killing It, a new comedy series starring Craig Robinson.

Killing It comes from Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici, producers of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and tells a story about “class, capitalism, and one man’s quest to achieve the American dream. And also about hunting really big snakes.” The Killing It trailer doesn’t exactly explain how that happens, but it does look like fun. In a statement about the upcoming series, Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici said:

We love all the ambitious, challenging, thematically-rich series that populate the current peak-TV landscape. We also love jokes. So, we tried to make a show that could deliver both. We wanted Killing It to explore America’s quasi-religious obsession with entrepreneurship and wealth, and we also wanted it to be funny. Really, really funny. Plus, we wanted it to have big snakes. It’s a daunting creative balancing act, but lucky for us, we were writing for Craig Robinson, aka the most likable man in the world. His hilarious, effortlessly charming performance grounds even the wildest comic moments in something deeply human and relatable.

In addition to Craig Robinson, Killing It will also star Claudia O’Doherty, Rell Battle, Scott MacArthur, Wyatt Walter, Stephanie Nogueras, and Jet Miller. Killing It doesn’t have an official release date just yet but the trailer does say that it will premiere on the Peacock streaming service this April.
