Back in 2004, Singapore based MediaCorp Raintree Pictures and New Zealand’s Eyeworks Touchdown agreed to co-produce films. Total output so far – Zero.
The gears are turning now, however, and the duo’s first project is a 3 million dollar horror pic called THE TATTOOIST. No plot details yet available, but we’ll give you the skinny as we get it.
Here’s what MediaCorp CEO Daniel Yun had to say about the project’s future: “Raintree is at a point of our development where we are looking at moving to a new level of experience and exposure. We have a clear vision — to produce a breakout hit within the next three years that breaks into key global markets.”
