Determined not to be tied down to the TWILIGHT series she so obviously disdains, Kristen Stewart is trying to take on new roles to show her range. Whether it’s banging Ryan Reynolds in ADVENTURELAND or getting a bad haircut as Joan Jett in THE RUNAWAYS, the girl certainly is trying.
Her next venture is WELCOME TO THE RILEYS, where she plays a young stripper/hooker who is looked after by a married couple (James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo) who has recently lost their own teenage daughter. It’s an interesting trailer, and I really dug Gandolfini in it especially.

As for Stewart’s acting prowess? The trailer promises via a quote that she is “electric” but I didn’t quite catch any sparks on first glance. Check it out below and see for yourself.
