Writer/Director Greg William Stechman has been keeping busy! Not only does
he have
“This Hollow Sacrament” going but he
revealed to us his “under the radar” second feature
LADYBUGS.
Stechman had to this to say about the project via a press
release: “I wanted to direct an original screenplay
with zero investor or producer interference. I wanted to create an intimate,
small, film, reminiscent of Hitchcock fare like ‘Rope’ or ‘Lifeboat’
that turns into a desperate horror-survival film. Unlike ‘Hollow’ (which
received intense internet and media exposure before, during and after
filming), I wanted to make something that no one knew about until we were
well into post production.”
And what’s LADYBUGS about? Here ya go:
During a pregnancy celebration, a married couple
accidentally hit and kill a reclusive loner’s dog in their vehicle. The
couple, fearing legal repercussions from killing the animal, flee the scene.
Little do they know that the introvert whose animal they just killed has
plans for them, and has been watching them for quite some time.
