Variety announced this morning that Liza Lapira has joined Forest Whitaker and Jude Law in the upcoming repo-your-organs movie REPOSSESSION MAMBO for Universal Pictures.
Like many of you, I too uttered ‘who the f*ck is Liza Lapira and why do I care?’ when I first read that, but after a little research, I found she can be seen mostly on TV, on shows like Law & Order: SVU and Navy NCIS. She can also be seen in the upcoming flick 21, which is apparently supposed to be pretty good.
Now that you know her, Lapira will be playing ‘a hip anesthesiologist,’ which means she’ll likely the one who puts you under… before your organs are repossessed! Hey, if she’s the last face you see before you loose your spleen… well, there are worse things out there!
REPOSSESSION MAMBO is the futuristic Sci-Fi/Horror flick about organs being bought on credit, and those who ‘repossess’ them if you fail to pay. Should be fun. Stick around these here parts for more on this MAMBO as we hear it!
