A couple new photos have emerged from Marcus Nispel’s long-awaited BACKMASK, courtesy of Nick Nicotera’s Twitter feed. The actor posted the two below pics with the captions “Portrait of a Serial Killer” and “Disposing of the Evidence”, respectively. As the film deals with a spirit that hops from body to body, we’re guessing Mr. Nicotera is possessed by evil in these images in question.

In addition to Nicotera, BACKMASK stars Stephen Lang, Kelly Blatz, Gage Golightly and Brittany Curran. The synopsis goes like this:

During a sex, drugs, and rock-fueled party, six small-town teenagers find an old vintage record and decide to play it backwards in order to listen for any subliminal/satanic messages. Lo and behold, a seemingly malevolent spirit quickly infiltrates the group, wreaking havoc as it moves from one body to another. Eventually, however, it’s revealed that the spirit in question is actually trying to convey a message….and that the real source of horror isn’t particularly paranormal, but rather something (or someone) much closer to home.

Still no word on when we’re actually going to get a look at BACKMASK.
