For those who haven’t looked at a newspaper since the 1950s, MARMADUKE is a comic strip about a Great Dane and all the hypothetical comedy that comes from owning such a monstrous dog.
And now it’s a live-action (CG-assisted) movie, with Owen Wilson voicing the mischievous hound and a few random humans like William H. Macy and Judy Greer thrown in for abuse. Other animals are voiced by George Lopez, Steve Coogan and Kiefer Sutherland, who isn’t exactly someone you’d normally associate with family fare.
