Lee goes snuff

You may not know who Jay Lee is, and I’m not surprised. Lee hasn’t really been around too long, but he’s got one noteworthy credit to his name. That credit would be directing ZOMBIE STRIPPERS. So let’s just thank him for that right now…

Not let’s move onto his next project. While ZOMBIE STRIPPERS looks to be an enjoyable time all around, his new film seems to be the exact opposite. UGO recently caught up with Jay Lee to ask him about his next project, which is called HOUSE OF THE HUNDRED EYES … Alright. The title could definately use some work. Lee (above middle) had the following to say to UGO in regards to HOUSE:

“The next film that we’re hopefully going to do is called House of the Hundred Eyes. It’s the exact opposite. It’s this really dark, really very, very disturbing film. And we’re going to push the envelope, disturbing people, as opposed to amusing them. Something about snuff films and stuff like that.”

Ouch, vicious. Almost a complete one eighty. Going from a fun flick like ZOMBIE STRIPPERS to the potentially disturbing HOUSE OF THE HUNDRED EYES. That would definately take some range, here’s hoping Lee has it!

Now I find anything snuff related extremely disturbing. Obviously the Nicolas Cage starring 8MM tackled the subject head on, and while I loved that movie, some parts could definately have you feeling upset. I’m guessing Lee is going to go even darker than 8MM, so that should be interesting. Here’s hoping he throws at least one stripper in there somewhere… come on, you could always fit a stripper in there somewhere.

Strippers seem to make better.
