Earlier this year we learned that Anton Yelchin would be joining director Stephen Sommers in adaptating Dean Koontz’s popular novel ODD THOMAS. Now that’s all fine and dandy but who else is going to be in this thing??
Well according to Variety the lovely Lily Collins has just edged out a slew of other young actresses for the lead female role in the film. She beat out Emma Roberts, Kat Dennings, Portia Doubleday and Addison Timlin. I think a solid Boo-Yah! is in order. Collins (pictured) signs on as ‘Llewellyn, the girlfriend of the title character in “Odd Thomas.”
Set in a California desert town, story follows Thomas, a short-order cook with clairvoyant abilities who encounters a mysterious man with a link to dark, threatening forces.
Production on ODD THOMAS is expected to start May 2nd in Santa Fe, New Mexico so be sure to check back soon for more on the film!
