Fangoria scored a first look at some of the upcoming Lionsgate DVDs set for release in April.
First up is the ‘in name only’ sequel which made its premier on Sci Fi last year, RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD: NECROPOLIS (which was shot back-to-back with the craptacular RAVE TO THE GRAVE). NECROPOLIS hits shelves April 18.
The week after (April 25), THREE…EXTREMES II (aka SAAM GAANG), a retitling of the Asian anthology THREE which was produced before THREE…EXTREMES (confused yet?) hits the shelves with stories by Peter Chan, Ji-woon Kim and Nonzee Nimibutr. The same day, THE NUN stalks victims onto DVD (the latest release from Brian “RE-ANIMATOR” Yuzna and Julio Fernández’s Fantastic Factory).
Lastly, for B-movie fans there’s two additions to the Samuel Z. Arkoff Collection (or four, since both discs are double-features), which also arrive April 18th. No special features (if any) for these DVDs have been announced, so stay tuned. Click here for the rest of the artwork.
