The Dowdle Brothers just got finished bringing us on an elevator ride to Hell in the M. Night Shyamalan produced DEVIL and it seems they’ve already got their next project all lined up.
Actually there latest project is one the brothers have been working on since 2008, a flick called THE COUP. Now Bloody-Disgusting have the good word today that Lionsgate have decided to jump on board the project. Word has it the studio even has this one on the fast track. So what the devil (pun absolutely intended…) is THE COUP about? Check it:
THE COUP will center on an American family that moves to Cambodia for work just as a rebel mob takes over and starts killing all Americans.
Well damn… that doesn’t sound very exciting. I don’t know about the rest of you but I’m getting an ‘international torture porn’ feeling here that was big a couple years ago, no surprise there though considering that’s when the project developed.
