Listen to Zack Snyder’s commentary on the fight between Superman and Faora in Man of Steel

JoBloJoBlo

For those still reeling from the epic beat downs in MAN OF STEEL, today we have a clip (from The New York Times) from the film with commentary by director Zack Snyder, highlighting the initial attack on Smallville and the meeting of fists between Superman (Henry Cavill) and Faora (Antje Traue). Snyder gives some insight into how the sequences were pieced together on the technical front and dives into the actual fight between the two Kryptonians and explains the dynamic of the experienced “warrior” vs. the wet-behind-the-ears superhero.

Pretty cool stuff. I haven’t heard a Zack Snyder commentary before, mostly because I just haven’t had to time to listen to one, but I like that he gives a balance of technical and story notes. Granted it’s just a short clip, but it definitely sounds like he’s got info to share. Fingers crossed for a blu-ray track.

MAN OF STEEL is currently in theaters.
