I’ve never been a huge fan of CARRIE. It just didn’t have that much effect on me. So truth be told I could care less about this upcoming CARRIE remake from director Kimberly Peirce. But just because I don’t care about the thing doesn’t mean I don’t think it’ll be decent. On the contrary – I think this CARRIE reboot is shaping up to be pretty damn solid.
Not only does the flick have some legit minds on it but if these brand new behind the scenes shots offer up all kinds of exciting goods! We’ve literally got buckets of blood featured in these new shots as well as some title treatments and more bloody action. What are you waiting for? Get scrolling and tackle that shite!
The quiet suburb of Chamberlain, Maine is home to the deeply religious and conservative Margaret White and her daughter Carrie. Carrie is a sweet but meek outcast whom Margaret has sheltered from society. Gym teacher Miss Desjardin tries in vain to protect Carrie from local mean girls led by the popular and haughty Chris Hargenson, but only Chris’ best friend, Sue Snell, regrets their actions. In an effort to make amends, Sue asks her boyfriend, high school heartthrob Tommy Ross, to take Carrie to prom. Pushed to the limit by her peers at the dance, Carrie unleashes telekinetic havoc.
CARRIE, which already has a March 15, 2013 release date pegged, stars Gabriella Wilde, Julianne Moore, Portia Doubleday, Ansel Elgort, Judy Greer (below) and Chloe Moretz as our titular ‘Carrie.’ As always as soon as more CARRIE goods roll our way we’ll be right here to tell you about them.
