So we last told you about THE LONG WEEKEND back in March! That’s a long time ago! Since then we’ve heard nothing coming from THE LONG WEEKEND until now!
There’s a batch of new stills floating around the interweb for THE LONG WEEKEND as well as the newest one sheet. I’ve thrown all those up for you all to check out, so go ahead and scope them out above and below. Just click through on the stills for larger shots. Then directly below all the stills you’ll find the new poster. It doesn’t exactly snag my attention… but I’ll take it.

Now in case you didn’t know, THE LONG WEEKEND is a remake of a 1978 Australian film. Here’s the synopsis: A suburban couple take a weekend vacation in the hopes of repairing their relationship. They set out to an isolated beach where disrespect Mother Nature and then encounter her revenge. Jaime Blanks will be directing with a script from Everett De Roche.
Now being a fan of 90s slashers, I’m a huge fan of Mr. Blanks. So I’m eager to see what he’s got planned for us with THE LONG WEEKEND, which seems to be a bit off Blanks’ normal path. The film stars Jim Caviezel and Claudia Karvan. Now I’m also a big fan of Mr. Caviezel’s, so color me stoked to check this one out!
