In the past 24 hours alone we’ve given you not one but two updates on Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN 2… and here I am with another one for you!
Above you can get a glimpse of the newest image from H2, and for that matter the newest imagine from Rob Zombie’s MySpace. As you can see the image is a shot of young Chase Vanek as that homicidal teddy bear Michael Myers when he was a kid. So what says you? Think he’ll nail the role? Here’s Zombie’s post:
Here he is for the first time CHASE VANEK the new young Michael Myers. Chase has been kicking ass on set and we are sure you will love him as much as we do. Chase’s favorite question to ask me is “When do I get to kill someone ?” Kind of reminds me of another young Michael I used to know.
I’m not going to ramble much on this one because I’m sure you’ve all heard your fair share of H2 debate over the past couple weeks. I find it somewhat comforting to know Zombie’s doing his own seperate thing with this one apart from our beloved HALLOWEEN franchise… but on the other hand I want me some classic Myers! Whether you’re for it or against it the fact is it’s coming. Sooner rather than later actually with a release date of August 28th.
