Lost Boys 2 trailer peek

So some lucky S.O.B. over at Horror-Moives.ca scored himself a sneak peek at the first trailer for LOST BOYS 2: THE TRIBE. Apparently there were some good points, but mostly bad ones. Here’s the cumbersome negative quote:

“If you are looking for good production values and great story telling you are likely to be severely disappointed. The trailer is not the movie but the trailer was at best very indie, and you only see the two Corey’s in two scenes and they are just cheesy one-liners that make you either laugh or groan. The vampires are also not like the first film. In this film they look like the vampires from Dusk Till Dawn accept the FX are nowhere near as good. Will this movie get a theatrical run? In my view highly unlikely.”

Ouch, that stings. Well, being a fan of the original as well as the sequel’s stunner, Autumn Reeser (below, Yowzers!), I have to provide at least a little portion of positive:

“If you are a fan of the original and are watching it for that reason only I think you will enjoy it.”

Well, I can’t imagine many people seeing this other than The Fans of the original anyway, so maybe there’s still hope! Personally, I’m looking forward to seeing the Feld-meister and Haim-inator back in action together (THE TWO COREYS doesn’t count).

Though the trailer is not online just yet, I do believe that it will be attached to the I AM LEGEND DVD which hits store shelves March 18th!
