Universal has announced (you guessed it) rated and unrated editions of George A. Romero’s LAND OF THE DEAD, which stars Simon Baker, John Leguizamo, Dennis Hopper and the yummy Asia Argento. Both discs lurch onto shelves October 18th, and should retail at around $29.99 a piece. The rated edition (runtime 1 hour 33 minutes) will be available in 1.33:1 full frame only, whereas the unrated edition (1 hour 37 minutes) will be presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen. Each will carry English Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1 Surround tracks. No extras or artwork as of yet, but you can be sure that we’ll snag them as soon as they appear.
