Lulu Wilson has been a formidable name in horror since the age of 11, when she appeared in Ouija: Origin of Evil. She would follow it up with appearances in Annabelle: Creation and The Haunting of Hill House. Yet it wasn’t until 2020 that Lulu would get a horror franchise that was appropriate for her talents: Becky. Following a young girl after the tragic death of her dad, she seeks revenge against the Nazis who killed him. Three years later, this character would return in The Wrath of Becky, where she would kill more Nazis. Now, she’s returning in The Last Temptation of Becky to kill even more Nazis.
Recently, I was able to speak with Lulu and director Jenn Wexler for the film’s premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival. Lulu gets into which of the kills from the three films is her favorite (and it ends up being Wexler’s favorite as well). And given how she ends up covered in blood by the end of the films, she talks about how her relationship with fake blood has evolved over the years. Needless to say, it sounds like an experience that may be fun once, but not for multiple days plus night shoots. The Last Temptation of Becky plot:
Now a CIA field agent, Becky goes undercover in Poland to infiltrate a family running an inn at The Wolf’s Lair, one of Hitler’s WWII bunkers. When she learns the father, Wilhelm Reuss, plans to spark the Fourth Reich, Becky must stop him.
