Now obviously we’ve been keeping you updated on UNDERWORLD: RISE OF THE LYCANS since it was announced. We’re talking more vampire versus werewolf action, so why wouldn’t we be waiting for this one? And today’s no different.

LYCANS comes from director Patrick Tatopoulos with a script from the duo of Danny McBride and Dirk Blackman. It’s an origins story centered on the centuries-old feud between the the race of aristocratic vampires known as Death Dealers, and their onetime slaves, the Lycans. LYCANS is the third film in the UNDERWORLD franchise and serves as a prequel to the prior two films. It stars Michael Sheen, Rhona Mitra (below), Bill Nighy, and Steven Mackintosh. Look for it in theaters on January 23.
