Craig McMahon hit us up today with a couple of things he’s been working on, including a very cool teaser trailer.
First up is a little two-page spread for MACHINED, which stars David C. Hayes, Jose Rosete, Patti Tindall, Mark Ray and Elias Castillo. The film hits DVD August 15th, and centres on an obsessive collector named Motor Man Dan, whose ultimate collectible would to have his very own serial killer. The collectible turns out to be Ryan, who was the victim of an accident and suffered some pretty serious bumps to the head. Dan plans to tool and manufacture a half-machine, half-man serial killer, which would then go about producing an assortment of killing scenarios.
The DVD sports a widescreen transfer, complete with English DD 5.1 and 2.0 Stereo. Unfortunately, the only extras on the DVD will be a trailer gallery, though it appears that the disc itself will borrow a bit from SAW and have a graphic of a circular saw on it, which is a novel idea if you’ve seen that one part in RAGE: CARRIE 2.
The other piece of news Craig sent us was the teaser trailer for his new film SPORTKILL, which is currently in post. The film once again stars David C. Hayes, Elias Castillo and Jose Rosete, alongside Dona Wood, Erin Del Rosso and Jeff Dolniak, and involves Dona Wood’s character (Rachel) being abducted and forced into the world of high stakes betting. Rachel must decide to play, or be played (and no, this ain’t no pimping service). To find out more on the film (including the teaser), head on over.
